1. Fixative ARDF 38316 for Reed Diffuser and Nebulizer Fragrance Production
Product detailed description
Consistent Fragrance Intensity
ARDF Solvent has been developed to help maintain the most consistent fragrance intensity possible. It reduces the significant difference between a very strong fragrance at the beginning and a rapid decrease in intensity during continued use.
Thanks to its low viscosity, the fragrance liquid is quickly absorbed into the reeds and continuously transported upwards through capillary action. With the right combination of fragrance oil, diffuser vessel and high-quality reeds, there is generally no need to turn the reeds regularly.
The base itself has a slight inherent odour, which is generally not noticeable in the finished diffuser during use and does not overpower the character of the fragrance composition.
Benefits
- professional base for reed aroma diffusers
- easy mixing with DBB fragrance oils
- also suitable for selected essential oils
- even and controlled evaporation
- more consistent fragrance intensity throughout use
- low viscosity for rapid absorption into the reeds
- generally no need to turn the reeds regularly
- supports a clean and clear fragrance development
- suitable for small batches as well as professional production
Application
Thoroughly mix the ARDF Solvent with the selected fragrance oil, pour the mixture into a suitable diffuser vessel and insert the diffuser reeds.
The optimal fragrance oil concentration depends on the specific fragrance, desired intensity, size of the vessel, number and type of reeds, and the desired evaporation time.
Before producing larger quantities, we recommend preparing a small test batch to evaluate fragrance intensity, mixture stability and evaporation rate.
Example
For 1,000 g of finished fragrance liquid:
- 400 g DBB fragrance oil
- 600 g ARDF Solvent
Mix both components thoroughly until a homogeneous fragrance liquid is obtained. The finished mixture can then be poured directly into a suitable diffuser vessel and used with appropriate diffuser reeds.
Before producing larger quantities, we recommend carrying out an application test using the specific fragrance composition, intended vessel and diffuser reeds.
The actual fragrance intensity and evaporation rate depend on several factors, including the specific fragrance composition, number and material of the reeds, size of the vessel, room temperature and air circulation.
Important: The mixing ratio of 40% DBB fragrance oil and 60% ARDF Solvent is our technical recommendation for this application. The product-specific IFRA limits and safety information for the fragrance composition used must also be observed for the intended application.
