Product detailed description

Instructions for Use

Perfume Fixative PFRP 17832 has been developed to support fragrance fixation in various scented products. In combination with suitable fragrance compositions, it can be used for perfumes, scented candles, soaps, hanging air fresheners and cardboard car air fresheners.

Perfumes

For the production of alcohol-based perfumes, we recommend a guideline dosage of 10–20% Perfume Fixative PFRP 17832, based on the total weight of the finished perfume.

Example:
For 100 g of finished perfume, approximately 10–20 g of Perfume Fixative PFRP 17832 may be used, depending on the desired formulation. The remaining amount consists of fragrance concentrate and suitable perfumer’s alcohol or ethanol.

After blending, we recommend allowing sufficient maturation time and subsequently carrying out stability and application tests.

Scented Candles

PFRP 17832 can be used together with suitable fragrance oils to support fragrance fixation in scented candles and wax melts.

The appropriate concentration depends on the wax used, the fragrance composition and the overall formulation. Before starting serial production, we always recommend carrying out your own burn, stability and fragrance performance tests.

Soaps

PFRP 17832 can also be used in combination with suitable fragrance compositions in the production of perfumed soaps.

As fragrances and other formulation ingredients may affect the properties, viscosity and colour of the soap base, we recommend conducting an application test with the specific formulation before serial production.

Car Air Fresheners & Cardboard Hanging Air Fresheners

PFRP 17832 is also suitable for use in fragrance blends intended for car air fresheners, fragrance cards and hanging air fresheners made from absorbent cardboard.

The optimal composition depends on the fragrance used, carrier material, desired fragrance intensity and intended fragrance duration. We recommend testing the absorption capacity, material compatibility and fragrance release with the specific cardboard material before production.

Important

The appropriate dosage depends on the specific application, fragrance composition and overall formulation. The relevant IFRA requirements for the intended application must be observed.

The Safety Data Sheet, where available, can be found directly on the product page.
